No Diving!

Aiden's favorite time of day...

BATH TIME!!!

so much so that she just couldn't wait for me to even get her clothes off!

I was filling the tub

and I heard a thud and some splashing...

I turned around and...

she wasn't upset or scared or anything...

just content to FINALLY be in the water playing!!!

fullest diaper ever!
didn't know they could get that big!

I did manage to wrangle off the wet clothes...

we always have a good time!

perhaps it is time for some swimming lessons!

???

I must be getting old...cause all I can think of when I see her like this

is that my neck would be so sore when I woke up...

and my legs would probably be asleep!

Rock Star

She is so funny! I couldn't catch it all...but oh my!

Just Another Day On The Job!!!

Some Of You May Have Seen This Fire On The News

It Is Always Sad

When Someone Loses Their Home

But This Is What These Guys Live For!!!

14 Months

Aiden Turned 14 Months Old Yesterday...

Seems impossible since this was just a week ago!!!

Hahaha...

Wow things really do change fast!

I always used to think it was so funny

that people talked about their kids ages by months...

when does that end?

I understand now though!

I just wanted to share a few new pics of my baby...

Here she is with her crazy uncontrollable hair!!!

I totally love it!
Showing me where her hair is...
She also knows where her...

Mouth is...

And her nose...

And she knows where her feet are...

as well as her belly button, her hands, her eyes, her ears

and of course her buns!

She can show you where yours are too!

She now has 7 teeth...they are sharp little things!

And she had her first taste of Gushers!

Don't you just love her fire truck pajamas?

She is cute in anything though!

BFFs

We knew this day would come!

(by the time I could take this one she was mad...she was stuck)

Aiden has always loved Jada...her "woowoo" as she calls her....

but alas Jada has not always been so fond of Aiden!

But Jada finally seems to have come to terms with the chaos!

They share food...and toys....and blankets...just about anything you can imagine.

A match made in heaven!

Handi Snacks Indeed!

So the other night Aiden had a Handi Snack...the breadsticks with peanut butter...and it went over really well!

She was having so much fun...she loves feeding herself! It was a riot!

Her fingers were glued together...she went right to the tub!
It was worse than her birthday cake!

She is just so cute! Don't you just love her?

2009

We are so excited for another new year...but still in shock that 2008 is gone. It was a year of ups and downs. We celebrated first steps & first words & first teeth. Trenton graduated from POST. I said goodbye to 2 beautiful grandparents and a beloved prophet. I FINALLY cleaned out our closet!! (and tearfully said goodbye to at least 30 pairs of shoes!) We found out what BABY PROOFING means! Discovered the blogging world. We learned a lot about ourselves last year...and we have a lot to look forward to this year...

• We Will Celebrate 6 Years of Wedded Bliss!
• We Say Goodbye To Bottles & The Pacifier (hopefully)
• Trenton Turns 30! (get ready for the party!)
• Building a Shed
• My Nephew Jordan Turns 12 (can't wait to see him passing the Sacrament)
• Getting The Truck Finished (keep your fingers crossed)
• Taking A Family Vacation
• Working on Geneology
• Re-reading The Book Of Mormon (as a family)
• Learning to Stick to A Budget!
• My Nieces Gillian & Emma Turning 8....Getting Baptized!
• Finally Getting Pictures Put Into Books
• Finishing Another Quilt
• Hiking To The Top Of Timp
• Aiden Turning 2
• Probably A First Haircut
• Sending Out Christmas Cards (since I have missed the last 2 years)
• Coping With Aiden's Growing Independence
• Learning to Ski

Even if most of that doesn't happens...I hope it will be a great year. Things change so fast. There was a quote or a saying on Dusty and Ali's blog a while ago...

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain."

I hope I can get better with that this year. Along with everything else on my to do list!

Happy New Year!!!
