Coloring Books

at restaurants the hostess always asks us if she can have crayons

and she usually does ok with them

but only recently has she really seemed to grasp the concept

and she loves it!

we got her some of those "magic" markers that only write on the specific paper

so now she colors at home too!

she is getting so big!

and it is so much fun to watch her learn new things!

Cheap Entertainment

I guess there was not really a need to buy Aiden any toys...

she would rather play with our stuff anyway.

She loves to put on shoes...doesn't matter who they belong to.

and again with the stethescope...it seems to be a favorite

Overheated!

For some reason this seems to be her new favorite place to hang out...?

She must be warm!

Sleeping In!!!

I heard Aiden wake up this morning around 8...

she fussed for a second.

And then I heard her moving around.

Her bookshelf is close to her crib.

And she LOVES to read!

So I left her for about a half an hour...

just listening to her reading to herself & making noises...

I finally went in to see her...

and this is what I found!

She loves books...she is even good with the paper pages...most of the time!

Even when I went to get her she wasn't ready to be done!

I put the books away...

but she managed to keep this one...

her cousin Connor gave her this one for Christmas!

If only she would sleep thru every night...

and every morning could be like this!

In Case You Didn't Get Enough!

Outdoor Adventures!

Aiden got to play outside for a few minutes today...

She had a pretty good time throwing Jada's balls around!

But she still wouldn't venture far from the patio.

Sunday

This is what Aiden wore to church today.

The hair bow didn't survive very long today!

She was pretty good today.

Even though she still wouldn't take a nap!

I am so excited that there are only 3 more months till she can go to nursery!

She struggles being so still for 3 whole hours!

In the last couple of weeks...Aiden has started to fold her arms by herself.

So cute!

If it is a long prayer...she won't do it thru the whole thing...

but it is a start!

Game Night

We went to the hockey game last night with Trenton's family.

Uncle Dusty caught a t-shirt for Aiden


And Aiden got a puck...

She was pretty tired by the end of the night...

Over all a pretty fun night out!

Just Can't Get Enough!

Another day hanging out at home... she is just too freakin' cute! For some reason...she loves to be upside down...?

She is usually backwards on the car...
She was using as a prop to dance with today though!

She is just such a funny little girl! She makes us laugh!

Snow Bunny!

Last night we went tubing up at Soldier Hollow

with the Fire Department...

It was pretty fun!

And it was Aiden's first time!

She got her own little tag on her coat!

(technically you're supposed to be 3 to go)
She would not turn around to face the camera...
but I had her so bundled up...
she was the cutest little snow bunny!
She can pass for 3, right?
Hahaha...

She had to be in her own tube...we were all nervous!
But she did so well...
she faced me the whole time...
and didn't seem to be freaked out at all!
Thank goodness for the rope tow!

We only took her down the hill once...
and she didn't cry or anything....
and Trenton pulled her around for a while!

Over all it was a fun night out!
We had doughnuts & hot chocolate
(which makes a good night by itself...let's be honest!)

I think she is going to be an adrenaline junkie like her daddy!
But we love her!

Another Day

Must be great to be 1...

you can keep yourself busy for hours...with nothing really!
you can play in the smallest spaces!
(for some reason this is her new favorite place to hang out!)

And you don't really get in trouble for getting into everything!

And you change clothes like 4 times a day!
